⬡ DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can permanently delete your Alien Evolution Labs account at any time. This page — which is public and requires no login — explains exactly what happens when you do, and gives you two ways to request deletion.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open Profile from the top navigation.
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
4. Tap Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm.
5. You will be signed out immediately once deletion completes.

Deletion takes effect on live systems immediately. You will receive an on-screen confirmation.

Option 2 — Delete via the web

Visit alienevolution.app/delete from any browser. You will be asked to sign in (to verify identity), then can complete deletion in a single click. Deletion takes effect immediately, consistent with GDPR Art. 12(3) and CCPA/CPRA response windows.

If you can no longer sign in, contact privacy@alienevolution.app from the address on file and we will verify identity and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

The following personal data is purged from live systems immediately:

• Email address and authentication credentials
• Profile record, display name, and avatar image files
• Credit balance and unused credits (forfeit on deletion)
• Your likes, comments, and follows
• Bug reports you submitted
• Saved planet and star presets
• Admin/role assignments (if any)

What is anonymized (not deleted)

• Public creatures and their AI-generated artwork are orphaned — the user_id link is severed and public attribution is replaced with the anonymous label “Hero of the Past”. No metadata links the content back to you.

If you prefer your creatures deleted as well, say so in your deletion request and we will remove them before deleting your account.

What is retained, and for how long

• Backups: deleted personal data persists in encrypted database backups until they rotate out — typically within 30 days. It is not restored or accessed except in a disaster-recovery event.
• Transaction / tax records: we retain minimal purchase records (amount, date, invoice ID) for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting law. These records do not include your account profile after deletion.
• Payment processor (Stripe): Stripe independently retains payment records under its own compliance obligations. We instruct Stripe to delete customer PII on request; contact us and we will initiate that.

Reinstatement

Deletion is irreversible. You are free to create a new account at any time, but prior creatures, credits, and history cannot be recovered or re-associated.
