⬡ TERMS OF SERVICE

By using Alien Evolution Labs (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Accounts & Identity

• You may register using any fantasy display name and avatar. You are not required to disclose your real name.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One person per account. Do not impersonate others or infringe trademarks.

Your Email

Your email address is used solely for login, account security, and transactional messages. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy.

Credits & Purchases

• Generating and evolving creatures consumes credits. New accounts receive complimentary starter credits.
• Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or when a generation fails on our side, in which case credits are automatically restored.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Purchase receipts are emailed to you.

User-Generated Content

• You retain rights to the creatures and descriptions you generate, subject to the underlying AI model providers’ terms.
• By publishing content publicly (Community, permalinks, share links), you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it within the service.
• Do not submit prompts or content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes others’ rights.

Account Deletion & Orphaned Content

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page (Danger Zone). This in-app deletion path is provided to comply with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play’s account-deletion policy. A public deletion page is also available at /delete-account, and users who cannot sign in may request deletion by emailing privacy@alienevolution.app.

• Your personal data (email, credentials, profile, avatar, likes, comments, follows, credit balance, bug reports, saved presets) is purged from live systems immediately. Backups rotate out within 30 days.
• Any unused credits are forfeited at deletion and are not refundable.
• Your publicly shared creatures are orphaned and remain in the community anonymously, attributed to “Hero of the Past”, with no link back to you. If you would prefer them deleted as well, contact us before deletion.
• Deletion is irreversible. Purchase / tax records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law.

Acceptable Use

• No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated abuse of the service or its AI endpoints.
• No attempts to bypass credit limits, RLS policies, or authentication.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected; you are responsible for how you use it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
